THE CHALLENGE
Percent Pledge is a charitable giving web platform that empowers millennials to contribute a percentage of their income into a portfolio of charities. The young start-up had been experiencing high drop-off rates during the on-boarding process, so they engaged us to streamline their 8-step on-boarding process and design a solution that will get people excited to sign up and donate.
THE OUTCOME
Supported by Cognitive Consistency theories and validated by our research, our team delivered a site redesign that encouraged new user buy-in to the platform's revolutionary concept of charitable giving by modeling intuitive e-commerce design patterns users are familiar with. Our design streamlined the on-boarding process into 5-steps and gave users the flexibility and freedom to edit and increase their pledges.
